Last BJG class for the term

Today is Caden's last day of lesson at Baby Jumper Gym. He has Jae vir and Ashley for company in the class for the past 6 weeks. The crawlers module that mummy and Pa Pa has helped Caden to sign up, targets to introduce single english and chinese words and encourages fine motor skills. In addition, the 15mins gym facilities session also encourages them to crawl in various obstacles. Unfortunately, Pa Pa feels that the course is expensive and decides to discontinue with the classes. Mummy is still deciding whether it does any good improvements to his "right brain stimulation".. mummy still quite swayed into continuing the classes but not with the same teacher.. kekeke...

2nd Swim lesson : For Channel U filming

We were fortunate enough to get to go to Aquaducks once again last sunday because Channel U needs to film a program for them. All of us were excited over this filming event as Caden has a chance to be featured on TV.. The filming crew however, stood behind the fathers and babies and seem to be concentrating on the instructors on their teaching techniques. But nontheless, I suspect Caden still have 20% chance of being featured though Pa Pa's positioning on that day was quite far off from the filming crew..

This time round, the swim instructor has dunked my boy twice into the pool!! making him so shocked and thus screaming for the discomfort of the dunk.. but this is another new experience for him to remember.. hee hee..

Channel U crew in action:

First Swimming lesson at Aquaducks

2 sundays back, we brought Caden to his first swim lesson at Aquaducks located at Suntec City. This has been kindly planned by my forum mummy who has managed to found us a lobang to attend a free trial lesson of 30 mins. I have always wanted Caden to try swimming in the pool as he usualy enjoys his bath sessions. It was quite an experience for him as we saw him smiling n enjoying himself in the pool with the songs sang by the teachers and various techniques used to get the babies get started in the pool. Pa Pa was sporting enough to get into the pool with Caden despite his fair and lean body.. but it was a good bonding experience for him as well.

Morning Greeting..

Pa Pa is still in the camp this week and I am taking care of Caden's needs during the early morning and late night shifts.. he loves to play with my spectacles and if i were to let him touch it, he will chuckle out loud..

When Pa Pa calls home from camp, I will usually let him speak to Caden on the phone for a short while, surprisingly, he seems to recognise Pa Pa's voice and smiles when Pa Pa is talking to him..

One morning, when he woke up from his sleep lying next to me, i give him a blur look on my face and he gave me back a very sweet smile.. it really warms my heart seeing that.. the smile wipes away those sleepless nights i had "entertaining" his cries

Pa Pa, I want a balloon!!!

Home alone

Pa Pa has left the house to serve reservist period of 3 weeks, leaving mummy and Caden home alone on night time and morning before mummy leaves for work.. it was quite a bad start to begin with as Caden came down with red and swollen lower eye lids (due to some eye infection). On Monday night. Caden came down with fever and slight diahorrea.. it was quite traumatising for mummy to take care of him throughout his unwell period. Thankfully, he recovered from fever within a day and now is up and running as usual.

However, mummy could have gotten the viral fever from Caden and is currently down with fever on thursday night and is now recuperating from my virus attack.. hopefully all's smooth-sailing next week and the week after..
