Ethan turns 2!

Lilypie 2nd Birthday Ticker

Ethan turns 2 today, Mummy has alot of work to rush this period, being the annual budget exercise + quarterly reporting and PaPa is on reservist this week. But the fortunate thing is that Mummy had managed to worked out a strawman presentation pack on time and PaPa has been released from camp early today. So we bought DiDi a birthday cake from Swenson's (Again!!!) for him to enjoy the night in a more memorable way.

Ethan suppressed his happiness cos Uncle SK was around and happened to command him to sit quiet on the chair while the parents went to prepare the cake. So the pictures taken had also got him displaying a very sad look ...

Ethan's eyes were fixed on the cake throughout the whole session

enjoying the ice-cream cakes

We bought him 2nd round of presents from Thomas and Friends - story books with music CDs.

Ethan is more athletic than Caden, since young, he has very good ball sense and can throw balls accurately into a basketball net which we hang up for his practice. He is able to dribble with balls and also runs almost as fast as Caden around the house. He gallops beautifully (compared to his cousins) which he enjoys doing now..

we will be sending him for the zoophonics class soon..so hopefully, academically he will progress well too.

Ethan's 2nd birthday celebration

Again, as PaPa and Mummy wants to save the hassle of organising a birthday party, we have asked to have a steamboat dinner at Grandma's house on Sat. Since PaPa is on reservist come Monday, we probably don't have a chance to bring the little boy out this Thurs (22nd Oct) on his birthday for some fun.

We arrived early at Grandma's pl so that dinner can be helped by the maid. PaPa had brought along the present that we bought for DiDi to Grandma's house and let Ethan opened his present there. He didn't seem to be extremely excited about a present but rather, allowed his Brother Caden to do the opening. Probably Ethan has received lesser presents in the last 2 years so he may not understand the joy of ripping off a present :)

When we unveil the present, it is DiDi's fav character of the moment - Thomas and friends train set. PaPa and Caden helped Ethan to get the set ensembled with Ethan sat quietly and patiently waiting for the tracks to be fixed. When it trains get up and running, Ethan finally got excited and engrossed with the process and got his eyes fixed on for the whole night.

After dinner, we prepared a small cake for DiDi to blow. Coincidentally, Grandpa's birthday is also drawing near (but not sure if the rest rem abt it) so we got Gong Gong to cut the cake together with Ethan. Ethan was quite clever to be able to blow off his candles after the birthday song was done and kept his eyes glued on the cake when phototaking session happened.

Ethan didn't really displayed too much joy last night, probably because he may not be feeling well. He didnt sleep too well (woke up 2 x crying) and developed into fever today. Hopefully he gets well by tom.
