My first passport photo

Papa and mummy decided to make a passport for Caden for some contingency adhoc m'sia trips should we decided to pop by our neighbouring country anytime. It is not easy taking a passport photgraph for a 17th month old toddler. Caden cannot stand still for long, let alone against a white background. We tried very hard to make him stand still.. and even wanted him to smile at the camera.. in the end, after 20 mins work, we gotten something decent and good enough to submit to the immigration dept this week..

various poses he made during the "photo shoot" session

Mr and Mrs Law's Wedding (Part 2)

Aunty Glory finally shared with us what her professional photographer had taken on her wedding day with ah boy. Mummy had some difficulties in posting these pictures back to the original posting and thus decided to create a new one to capture these moments..

Hide and Seek

Recently Caden enjoys lots of thrill playing hide and seek with us.. of course, we need to hide in some conspicuous corners for him to find us, as he is still only 17th months old. PaPa today decided to play mate and ran round the house and hide for Caden to find.. He was laughing non-stop as he ran after his daddy in the house and got excited when he managed to find PaPa in some corners..after 15mins, PaPa got so tired from all the running and hiding and decided to rest by luring Caden to switch game to play remote control car..

Finding his prey..

Winding down from all the running with the remote car..

My red bull's eye

Caden has gotten some angry mosquitoes bites again.. Grandma forgot to spray mosquitoe repellent during the usual morning walk which only lasted for 20 mins in the park.. before she realised, Caden has gotten 4 bites on his body and face. The bite near his left eye got swelled up today which seems like he had a really bad fall..

Little Animals

Caden has recently liked to name the little animals that he gets to see on a daily basis. Each morning when we bring him down to the park as we head for work, we come across birds, dogs and cats. Whenever he sees a dog, he will point into that direction and says "Dog" and PaPa usually will ask, how does a dog sound? Caden will answer, "Woof!Woof!". If he sees a bird, he will also point to the same direction as says bird! Same goes for cat... I just taught him the term, "trees".. now, during our car trips, he also likes to point at the trees and said something like "treeees!" in not so perfect articulation.. I think its high time for us to start introducing more new words as he seems to be absorbing new phases well now.

Remote Control Car

Today mummy is still suffering from the disappointment in some staff matters she encountered on Friday and suggested to go Parkway Parade to do some retail therapy. We also wanted to take a look at the baby/kids hair salon to see if we want to bring Caden for a haircut next week.

In the end, mummy didn't manage to get anything for herself but we spent money on Caden again. Because we brought him to the toys dept in Isetan and he was so busy with all the demo toys (as usual) and couldn't leave his hands off the remote control car.. PaPa generously said get one for him as he cannot bear to see ah boy not leaving the place with it.. we also managed to get him his first pair of long pants (for shopping/dinner occasions) from Mothercare @ $36 - we were complaining his clothes are getting more and more expensive..

New Thomas Train set

We have just got Caden his first automated Thomas train set on Sunday at Takashimaya. It doesn't cost us much as it was going on special discounted price at $12.95. He was so amused in the toys dept when he first set his eyes on the demo set. Thinking that he will enjoy it, we bought it for him (mummy also long time no chance to spend money on ah boy)..

We only have the chance to assemble this little set tonight. Caden was waiting with eagerness as he watched PaPa fixing up the battery and track. When the train starting running on the track, he was smiling and smiling.. but kept lifting the automated train off the track and stared at the running wheels..

However, 10mins later, his attention was diverted and he showed no interest in his new toy.. I think all children has this common behaviour... so hopefully it will still serve well during weekends if Caden is home..

Busy Caden

Caden had just recovered from his trumatic MMR vaccination's fever. He got both PaPa and Mummy so worried when his fever went up to 40.5 degrees on Monday morning at 2am.. We thought of rushing him to hospital because he was seriously hot all over the body.. but calm PaPa suggested to feed him the fever medicine and monitor him closely..

Today, his back in action once again, although his cough and running nose still persists (Mummy had fallen ill as well). Nontheless, this didn't stop him from all kinds of activities he had at home.. He was busy carrying things, which he loves to do recently. From point A to point B, then back from point B to A.. We are glad to see him up and running once again and hopefully his cough and cold will be over soon...
