Ethan is still very baby-lish, he doesn't seem to be as mentally developed as Caden at this stage.. so now we are quite concerned. We have decided to scout around for some weekend enrichment classes to start Ethan and let him be exposed to a more conducive learning environment since we are usually too tired to make the effort..
Here's the baby boy who will turn 1 year old in 4 months time..
Daddy and Mummy are usually busy with work, but each day we are trying to fulfill our roles as first time parents to make our children lives enriching...and starting a blog for our children ensures that these lovely memories are well-remembered..

Emergency Preparedness Day
Our Punggol GRC organised an Emergency Preparedness day today just near my block to demonstrate some fire safety rules and display some other stuff (frankly Mummy is not aware cos she didn't join along). Caden was so excited to go downstairs with PaPa when the music started rolling once the event started late afternoon.
When he came back from the trip (almost an hour), he was busy telling Mummy who stayed at home to attend to Ethan, that he saw a fireman putting out a fire. He also got a fireman hat as a souvenir.
First tooth
Ethan's first tooth finally cut through his gums this week, Mummy was playing with him and decided to test to check if his suspected tooth cut through the gums and indeed she felt somthing sharp on the surface of the gums.
Ethan has now reacted very well to us, can do loud laughter when he is amused, knows how to cry to get us to carry him, also cries to make us give him attention. He is learning the cause and effect , will drop a ball onto the floor continuously cos he knows mummy will be there to pick it up for him, or he will started looking for the dropped object.
Ethan has also know how to play peek-a-boo, laughing continuously when we are appearing and disappearing behind a hanky. He has also started his creeping, lifting his butt high up to push himself forward to reach for a toy of his desire. We tried to let him practise this skill almost every night in Caden's room to improvise his crawling skills..
