We planned the second day back in sentosa once again for a beach outing!
The night before, it rained throughout. So when we woke up at 7am on the 20th, we thought we had to abandon this trip since the weather looks equally bad given the heavy downpour the night before. However, we decided to go ahead with the trip back in sentosa as the boys were really looking forward to the beach play.
We reach the island near 10am and decided to go for the Port of Lost Wonder adventure. It was only priced at $8 per child during weekdays and the accompanying adult get to go in for free. As we have only equipped them with their swimwear, we left it to the boys to have their fun in this water-themed park.
The queue was long, despite being a weekday. Most of the visitors were tourists so I gathered everyone around the world is taking a break from work.
The boys were being briefed of the rules and given a pouch of coins and a passport
Ethan was just happy and contented playing with the water jets and this see saw
His first unaccompanied attempt at the slide, with the elder brother behind him
Caden's turn
Sheer joy
His moments
Caden really loves walking through the water spouts
Their attempt at the more challenging slide when PaPa got changed to play with them
There was a time when the cotton candy station was out serving, the boys queued up to get their share for 2 coins each
Our lunch from Pork Belly - this is a child's meal - about $10 each after GST and 10% surcharge. Simple but the sausage sandwich is nice. We ordered 3 portions in total eventually.
Not wanting to risk another disappointment due to weather, we decided to call it a day at Port of Lost Wonder at about 2pm (after 4 hours of play) and head out to the beach nearby. The boys finally get to play with their sand tools and start building their sandcastles.
Dashing out to the sea to collect water
Their other all-time favourite: challenging the currents and holding on to their positions
This day was fun-filling, the boys were already asking when can they come again to the Port of Lost Wonder.
