Daddy and Mummy are usually busy with work, but each day we are trying to fulfill our roles as first time parents to make our children lives enriching...and starting a blog for our children ensures that these lovely memories are well-remembered..

Persisting cough
Caden has been coughing for the past 1 month. He doesn't cough throughout the day but tends to cough very badly at night and mornings when he is awake. We had brought him to Dr Sim and he has given him some stronger dose of medication to treat what he thought sensitive lungs. After the full course of medication, he has not recover and continues to cough badly. Last night, he woke up at 1am to throw out his dinner and milk after coughing for some time. We brought him for an x-ray on Thurs (as Dr sim recommended to see if there is any infection in his lungs before he changes the medication). We will only get to know the results tom or tues and hoping that it will turn out fine..
Ethan at 3 months old
We brought Ethan for his third month jab to Dr Sim on Thurs and did an assessment on his suspected tilted neck. Dr sim said as long as he's turning his head around 180 degrees when he is held upright, it should be fine, his head shape will start to balance off when he turns 4-5months as he will be keep upright at a longer period during the day instead of sleeping most of the time.
Ethan now weighs 6.1kg and 60.5cm tall, his head circumference is 40.5cm big.. he reacted to the jab with a little cry (when Caden was 3 months old, he did not have any reaction at all!) but stopped crying within seconds. Although he falls short of the 2x his birth weight gain at this stage, we thought that he's slightly bigger in size at his age.. but still his milk intake did not increase from 2 months and still maintain at 4 oz per feed.
Ethan has now started to grab his t-shirt, hanky, or whatever within his reach when he's awake, and create a sharper cry whenever he's fussing. He has successfully sleep through the night since the last update and sometimes we have to wake him up at 630am to give him the first feed of the day. Hopefully it gets easier for us as both Mummy and PaPa are tired from exhaustion to date (that explains for fewer postings..)
Look, my hair has grown and become curlier!

The new T3 terminal
As we knew about the opening of new Terminal 3 airport, we decided to pop by today to see how magnificient our country has created a place to welcome the tourists.. it is really very impressive, although we didn't get to go into the check-in area, but we could have imagine how self-contained they have made the place. For us, we have a big area to view the aeroplances (viewing gallery), big area for the children to run and roam about - where Caden enjoyed alot! Lotsa of food choices.. but T2 and T1 was good too.. so efinitely a place we will visit when we have no idea where to hit during the weekends and like somewhere which is cooling...
Ethan enjoying the cooling place while Caden is busy watching the aeroplanes:
Once of Caden's fav spot as he is amazed with the rotating flower robot (which we didn't know the significance)

Back at Work
This is only my first week back at work in my Bank and I am already missing Ethan. Although its a short week, each time when I'm in the lactation room pumping milk for Ethan (doing 2 times a day), I have to retrieve the pictures of Ethan to make my day happier at work..
I have not been staying late in the last 3 nights, averaging 745pm. But to me, it is already a mad rush the moment I step back home after dinner with the 2 darlings.. Washing bottles, pump, sterilising them, boiling water, making milk for Caden, bathe, coaxing Caden to sleep, then pump milk again before we retire for the night. All to be done within 1 and a half to 2 hours. I will be staying later in the office in the later part of next week and hopefully my hubby and MIL can cope better without me (cos they need not pump milk).. Not sure how this arrangement will work going fwd, as we are on a lookout for maids now and possibly, Ethan and Caden will be easier as they become older.. otherwise, I will really have to seriously consider other job options..
