Daddy and Mummy are usually busy with work, but each day we are trying to fulfill our roles as first time parents to make our children lives enriching...and starting a blog for our children ensures that these lovely memories are well-remembered..

Ethan has made his move by his first crawl
On weekends, we usually bring the 2 brothers into Caden's room to laze around in the air-conditioned place before their afternoon nap and night time. Partly we wanted the boys to wind down with story-telling or board games activity while Ethan will be happily rolling around in the big area in Caden's room as there are 2 big mattresses for him to free play.
Today, we are amused to see how Ethan has made his move by kicking his legs and lifting up his butt to advance forward to reach out for Caden's books. Subsequent few attempts has perfected his first crawl and now he is able to quickly shift his body to reach for his object of desire!

At play
Sticking out
Ethan loves to stick out his tongue nowadays.. don't know what has inspired him, but sometimes it really looks very funny with him doing that out of the blue..
He has now blabbered more, saying words that sounded like, papa, mama, jie jie.. coincidentally, all were family related words, except for kor kor (brother)... Caden laughs when DiDi "talks" in the house cos its quite amusing..
Ethan has been able to sit for a longer period of time, still not independent by himself yet.. and has learnt to hold up his own bottle during milk feed.. as he is approaching 7 months in 3 days time, we have also increased his cereal feed to 2 times a day.. but he is still struggling to finish his milk fo 150ml per feed...
Posing with Caden and struggling to sit up straight..

Exersaucer
We need to praise the inventor of exersaucer, we have this set up on Labour Day since we needed Ethan to learn to sit up and train his legs' muscles as he has passed the 6 months mark.
This Exersacuer is really useful, it has many activities to keep the baby occupied and happy while parents can sit back and do their own activities (like watching tv, cooking, bath, toilet, etc) in peace. It helps to confine the lil one in the station, in a very safe way.
Ethan has been enjoying this new toy for the past 2 days, self-entertaining with loud chuckles occasionally, so hopefully it will keep him occupied in the next few months just like how his Brother Caden has enjoyed in the past as well.
