this is so.. so nice!
We headed towards Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. Tempozan Ferris wheel is located next to the Aquarium so we bought combo entrance tickets for both attractions. The boys decided to take a cabin by themselves for the Ferris wheel ride and the parents occupied a separate cabin. It was a nice and slow ride where we got see a good scenery at the highest point.

Up, Up, Away, on their own! |

from the top, the houses look like toy lego blocks |
love these road signs |
Aquarium was similar to Singapore's SEA aquarium but nonetheless the boys were delighted with the sea creatures and penguins. There was also a touch pool where the kids are allowed to pet baby stingrays, starfish and baby sharks. Overall I think they enjoyed the tour thoroughly.
the highlights of the Aquarium is this touch pool..
We took our lunch only at 3plus pm and then moved on to Umeda Sky building located near Osaka station. I supposed that we could have skipped this destination because it was costly to pay for the entrance tickets to gain access to the observatory level
We moved back to Osaka station and did some shopping (nice place to shop) and only get to have our dinner at 8plus pm.. Still hungry, we decided to have desserts eventhough we were told that we only had 30 minutes before the cafe closed for the night!
At basement one near osaka station mall.. this noodle shop sells very nice noodles with comforting broth for the cold weather.
our near $40 desserts after our dinner
right outside our dinner place, we saw this beautiful heart shape floating structure..
It was a fulfilling day as we accomplished quite a fair bit in terms of sightseeing and shopping:) I think staying near Osaka station is a good idea too!
